Vineyards
Hansen Vineyard
This cobblestone knoll with a southeastern exposure ripens Cabernet Sauvignon late in the growing season. Beautiful dark rich wines are produced.
Watson Vineyard
This is one of our best sites for cool-climate grapes. We grow Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Musque and Muscat Canelli. Slow maturation and good acidities prevail for these grapes.
Red Door Vineyard
There is dense vine planting with low yield per vine which produces excellent Merlot.
Beau Terroir
Great range of terroir on this single site which produces excellent Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
Stewart Ranch Vineyard
The vineyard can be seen entering Napa off the right hand side of Highway 29. A red barn sits at the edge of the vineyard, which is surrounded by a wildlife refuge. Hill Family Estate produces a single vineyard Stewart Ranch Pinot Noir. The vineyard also turns out excellent quality AlbariƱo, Sauvignon Musque, Pinot Noir, and Merlot.
Windy Flats Vineyard
This site is stunningly beautiful with rocky bluffs above the vineyards and a valley below. The vineyard soils consist of shale and rocky loams. On this 154-acre site there are approximately 20 acres in vines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and three different clones of Sauvignon Blanc.
Three Hills Vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon is planted on well drained, gravelly soil producing rich, dark fruit. Syrah planted at this site produces a wine of velvety lushness.
Beau Terre Vineyard
The well drained, gravelly soils consistently produce great Cabernets and Merlots.
Guck Vineyard
Merlot from this west-facing slope is mostly situated on loam and gravelly loam soils. Summer afternoons are warm, producing small sized berries with great flavors.
Briarstone Vineyard
One of the newer growing regions, it produces excellent mountain Cabernets, Merlots, Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs depending on location of the sun and terroir.
Baker/Mansfield Vineyard
Excellent mountain vineyard with red soil and some volcanic ash which stress the vines resulting in more concentrated fruit. It makes for a great location for Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc.
