For the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, we were able to combine the beautiful plush fruit
elements of the “Beau Terre Vineyard” in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District (65%)
with mountain fruit from the Astrella y Terra vineyard (35%) in the Soda Canyon
District. The Hill Family has a long history in managing these vineyards, and can
produce the highest quality fruit with them. Because of Doug Hill’s inquiring nature,
multiple clones and rootstocks are planted and combined to see what the best
combination will be for the future.

The Hill Family Estate wine library, is filled with wines dating back to our inaugural vintage in 2001. In celebration of Hill Family Estate's library collection, we’ve decided to open the vault. In early 2010 we began re-releasing some of our most prized vintages and vertical packs from the Napa Valley.
