Canyon, and valley floor Cabernet from the Beau Terre Vineyard and from a few
other small select vineyards.
For the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, we were able to combine the beautiful plush fruit
elements of the “Beau Terre Vineyard” in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District with mountain fruit from the Astrella y Terra vineyard
Deep, ripe, cassis and blackberry, intriguing black licorice and briary garrigue
aromas; almost a molasses intensity of depth.
The 2006 Hill Family Cabernet Sauvignon combines the best of the Hill Family’s Beau Terre Vineyard in the Oak Knoll District, with its plush black cherry boysenberry fruit, and the Atlas Peak Cabernet, with its finesse and tannic structure and its hints of sage and native brambly character.
Dark deep fruit nose, with black licorice and cassis. A classic Cabernet Sauvignon
palate from Napa, very long fruit flavors of blackberry, cherry and even a little
cranberry, let you know that the wine is still young.

notes and a little violet vanilla, linked to tannins.
Origin is our chance to create the best blend possible from the 2006 vintage. It allows us to use many small select lots made from specific sites farmed by the Hill Family that fall outside of the flagship Beau Terre Vineyard.
The final blend shimmers and forms complex layers that will grow and improve for years to come.
